Accessing SLAC Services

To Make an Appointement With SLAC:
We make same-day appointments Monday through Thursday at 8 AM at our office. Our office is located at Room 205 of the Fairfield Courthouse (600 Union Ave, second floor). To make a same-day appointment, be at our office by 8 am Monday through Thursday. We have a limited number of appointments for each day – first-come is first-served.

You may need an appointment if:
You need help starting or finishing a divorce, you need help filling out legal forms, you need someone to review forms or you need to run a child or spousal support calculation.

For Other Help:
Brief help is available at our office every weekday, from 8:30 AM until 12:00 PM. Please note that on Fridays, we offer limited services, which only includes assistance with domestic violence restraining orders.

Brief help might be a good idea if:
You have a question about your case, you need a blank form or you need a brief explanation of a legal process.

Email:
You can email us with brief questions at: flf@solano.courts.ca.gov

It usually takes us two business days to respond to emails.

Email might be a good idea if:
You need a forms packet, you have a question about your case, you need a blank form or you need a brief explanation of a legal process.

Please Note

We cannot give you legal advice – that means we cannot tell you WHAT to do. We may be able to tell you what your options are.

We cannot help you if a lawyer represents you in your case.

We do not help with some issues, including complicated divisions of property, grandparent visitation and other issues.

We do not provide mediation or arbitration.

We do not represent any party. No attorney-client relationship is created between a party and SLAC staff because of any information or services provided to a party by SLAC staff. This means that communications between the party and SLAC staff are not privileged and SLAC may provide services to the other party.
