About the Court

The Superior Court of California, County of Solano is the unified trial court of both general and limited jurisdiction in the county. Comprised of 23 judicial officers (20 judges and 3 commissioners) with a staff of 196, the court has jurisdiction over all cases arising within the county. This includes felony and misdemeanor criminal cases, traffic, civil and small claims, family law, probate, and juvenile cases. The court operates four court facilities within the county including: The Hall of Justice, at 600 Union Ave. in Fairfield, the Law and Justice Center at 530 Union Ave. Fairfield, the Old Solano Courthouse at 580 Texas Street in Fairfield and the Solano Justice Building at 321 Tuolumne St., Vallejo. The Presiding Judge is The Honorable Alesia Jones. Under her supervision the Court Executive Officer, Brian K. Taylor, administers the non-judicial operations of the court.
