About the Temporary Judge Program
The Superior Court of California, County of Solano maintains a list of attorneys who have been appointed to serve as temporary judges. The Court uses temporary judges for small claims and traffic hearings and may use them for other case types.
Temporary judges are trained, qualified and experienced attorneys who have satisfied the requirements for appointment under California Rules of Court, rule 2.812 – 2.815 and have been appointed by the court to serve as a temporary judge.
An attorney interested in serving as a temporary (Pro Tem) judge for the Superior Court of California, County of Solano, must complete the Application to Serve as Temporary Judge as well as read the complete Guidelines and Procedures, which can be obtained at the Court Executive Office or on this web page, by clicking the document name. Submit completed applications to Court Administration.
