Conservatorship Cases

Conservatorship Cases

When the court chooses you as a conservator, you are responsible to the court. You take on certain jobs and responsibilities. The court can examine everything you do as a conservator. It’s important that you understand all the duties required of a conservator. You can get more information in the 2016 Handbook for Conservators. The law says you must have a copy of this handbook. You can purchase a copy of the Handbook for Conservators in the office of clerk of the superior in your county. Each superior court will prepare a local supplement to this handbook called the Directory of Community Resources. Ask the clerk of the superior court in your county for the Directory of Community Resources. The cost for purchasing both the Handbook for Conservators and the Directory of Community Resources is $20. You can also print the handbook and local supplement below.
